Job summary

Augment in Columbus, GA is seeking a General Laborer to help keep the site clean, organized, and free of debris while supporting equipment operators, mechanics, and supervisors with various tasks. The role offers weekly pay, consistent full-time hours, outdoor work in an industrial setting, and opportunities for long-term employment with major waste industry employers.

PPE is provided, safety is a priority, and you may be required to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labor, sanitation, construction, or warehouse work is helpful but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean up debris, trash, and loose materials around the yard, shop, and work areas.
• Assist with pressure washing, sweeping, and general cleaning of buildings, pads, and containers.
• Organize tools, equipment, and parts in the yard or shop area.
• Support small maintenance tasks such as painting, organizing parts, or preparing containers.
• Perform minor landscaping or grounds maintenance duties.
• Help direct trucks or equipment traffic when needed.
• Follow all site safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times.
• Report any safety concerns or hazards to site supervisors immediately.

What You'll Do
