Job summary

Augment is hiring a General Laborer to support day-to-day cleaning and maintenance at a busy waste and recycling facility. This on-site role is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoors, staying active, and being part of a hardworking team.

You’ll be placed on-site at one of our national clients, helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and operations area. Weekly pay and full-time hours are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labor, sanitation, construction, or warehouse work is helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded.

Responsibilities

• Keep the site clean, organized, and free of debris while assisting operators and supervisors.
• Assist with pressure washing, sweeping, and cleaning buildings, pads, and containers.
• Organize tools, equipment, and parts in yard or shop areas.
• Support maintenance tasks such as painting and landscaping.
• Help direct trucks or equipment traffic and follow safety procedures.

Augment Human Resource Services is now hiring a General Laborer to support day-to-day cleaning and maintenance at a busy waste and recycling facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a hardworking team.

You’ll be placed on-site at one of our national clients, helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and operations area.

What You’ll Do

As a General Laborer, you’ll assist with keeping the site clean, organized, and free of debris while supporting equipment operators, mechanics, and supervisors with various tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean up debris, trash, and loose materials around the yard, shop, and work areas.
• Assist with pressure washing, sweeping, and general cleaning of buildings, pads, and containers.
• Organize tools, equipment, and parts in the yard or shop area.
• Support small maintenance tasks such as painting, organizing parts, or preparing containers.
• Perform minor landscaping or grounds maintenance duties.
• Help direct trucks or equipment traffic when needed.
• Follow all site safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times.
• Report any safety concerns or hazards to site supervisors immediately.

Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in general labor, sanitation, construction, or warehouse work is helpful but not required.
• Skills: Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently or in a team.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
