Job summary

Loenbro is seeking a General Laborer / Helper in Afton, TX. This full-time, non-exempt role involves assisting skilled trades on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols and keeping work areas organized.

The successful candidate will perform varied tasks, including material handling, tool operation under supervision, digging and backfilling, and assisting with installation of construction materials in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Ability to work from ladders and scaffolds.
• Lift and carry objects and materials of various weights.
• Skilled in math including adding and subtracting fractions.
• Able to pass preliminary and periodic drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact soil.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. This is a physically demanding role that requires mindfulness and the ability to work well in a team.
