Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in Savage, Minnesota is looking for a General Laborer to join our manufacturing leadership team. This role involves physically demanding tasks such as moving, lifting, and lacing tires of various sizes.

The ideal candidate should have a background in manufacturing operations, be able to work under diverse weather conditions, and collaborate effectively with a team. A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to stand for 9 hours a day, use hands to handle, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Stack finished products on pallets.
• Load trucks with tires.
• Move and lace all forms of tires.
• Work in varying weather conditions.
• Collaborate effectively in a team.

Skills

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our manufacturing leadership team as a General Laborer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, physical labor, and the ability to work well in a team environment and ensure the production process has a continuous and steady flow of the production of molded rubber goods. This is a very labor-intensive role that works in all types of weather, moving, lifting, and lacing all types of tires from passenger car to semi-truck tires.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Stack finished products on pallets
• Loading trucks
• Moving, loading, and lacing all forms of tires
• To work in all weather conditions.
• The ability to work as a team

Required Skills/Abilities

• The plant environment will include extreme cold and heat (weather related), working near moving mechanical parts.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
• The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently required to stand for 9 hours a day, walk; use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or crawl.

Education and Experience

• 1-2 years’ experience working in an industrial manufacturing operations environment, preferred.
