Job summary

MCC is hiring a Packaging Associate for 2nd and 3rd shifts in Provo, Utah. The role focuses on print and seam quality, material handling, and accurate data entry in the Globetek system. Applicants should be capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Preferred candidates have experience in lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing and are proficient with Microsoft Office. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience or in-depth knowledge of lithographic, flexographic, or digital printing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Uses ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure.
• Handles rolls and palletizes them to prevent damage.
• Understands basic printing and seam related defects.
• Records data on designated paperwork and in Globetek system.

We are currently looking for Packaging Associate for 2nd and 3rd Shifts to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.
• Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).
• Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them.
• Must understand basic printing and seam related defects.
• Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek)
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
