Evolving Solution Services seeks a General Labor - Maintenance Technician to support multi-family apartment communities. This hands-on role performs routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, building systems, and equipment, diagnosing issues and executing repairs with safety in mind.

You will document work orders and assist in installing new equipment, collaborating with supervisors to minimize downtime and maintain asset reliability.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of apartment maintenance experience.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Drug-free.

Job description

The General Labor - Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of facilities and equipment within the organization. This position involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of assets. The technician will work closely with other team members to identify maintenance needs and implement effective solutions promptly. Attention to safety protocols and adherence to company standards are essential to maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, this role supports operational efficiency by maintaining the physical infrastructure and equipment in optimal condition.

You have an opportunity to join a team of professionals dedicated to Multi-family Apartment communities. This is a hands‑on majority field work job.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess minimum of five (5) years experience in all aspects of equipment related to apartment community maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical or plumbing system.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be drug‑free
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a maintenance technician or general labor role.
  • Basic welding or carpentry skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience with deodorizer machines and compactor a big plus but not required.
