Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to safely lift and move large, heavy concrete pieces.
• Use hand tools such as hammers for assembly, demolition, or adjustment of concrete casting molds.
• Pour concrete into molds, then remove castings from molds after concrete has cured.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials and products throughout the facility.
• Utilize shelving systems for organizing, storing, and retrieving materials.
• Perform general labor duties, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lb.), material handling, and assisting with production as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Support other departments as required to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

We have an opening for a General Laborer position working at a company located in Moulton, AL, that manufactures high-temperature refractory products, specializing in clay refractories, precast shapes, and liquid slurry coatings. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.
