Job summary

Carlisle Companies is seeking a Production Associate for off-line insulation products in Franklin Park, IL. You will inspect, assemble, and maintain off-line production areas, following published specifications and 5S principles.

Typical 40-hour week, overtime as required; safety-conscious, teamwork, and ability to operate forklifts and panel saw; travel not required.

Responsibilities

• Produce Nail board, Cool-Vent, Cut jobs, Rapid Lock, and Samples for sales.
• Stack, Cutting and assembly of Hips, Valleys, Sumps and Feet.
• Inspect product for quality attributes.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Maintain 5S Checklist.
• Fill in other areas of the plant as required.

Job Description

Job Summary

Production of Poly–ISO Insulation Off-line products to published specifications. Tasks include inspection of product, production and assembly of all off-line products, and cleaning and maintaining Off-line areas.

Pay Range: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Production of Nail board, Cool-Vent, Cut jobs, Rapid Lock, and Samples for sales
• Stacking, Cutting and assembly of Hips and Valleys, Sumps, and Feet
• Inspecting product for quality attributes
• Maintaining a clean work area
• General labor
• Assist in training of new team members
• Maintaining 5S Checklist
• Fill in other areas of the plant as required

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Equipment Used:

• Forklifts, Foot Saw, Panel Saw, Rapid Lock Machine and Cool-Vent machinery.
• Computer systems (CMMS, SAP, MS programs

Working Conditions:

• Activities occur inside an insulation manufacturing facility. Job includes but are not limited to exposure to the following.
  • Temperatures exposed to both Ambient/outside temperatures.
  • Nuisance dust, use of chemicals, working with mechanical parts, pinch points
  • Noise of industrial machinery
• Typical 40 hour per week with overtime as required
• Days/shift vary based on facility need

Travel Requirement

• Overnight travel up to 10%, this will include travel to other facilities and to trainings
