Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a motivated team member to support daily plant production, changeovers, and outbound shipments. The role involves assisting in product packaging and coordinating with teammates for process changes and safe, efficient operation.

The position requires a high school diploma, manufacturing experience, ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and strong safety awareness. Team collaboration, reliability, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and understand plant safety guidelines.
• Must understand verbal and written instructions and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs all assignments following safety instructions and requirements.
• Meets production standards on assigned tasks within required time.
• Maintains clean work areas and reports production waste to the lead or supervisor.
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout production and for notifying leadership when stepping off the line.
• Follows company policies and procedures and performs other duties as required by supervision.

Job description

Summary

Support plant production needs for daily operation, changeovers, and outbound shipments. Primarily responsible for assisting in the packaging of products for internal and external use, and assisting in changeover with other production teammates.

Responsibilities

• Performs all assignments in accordance with safety specifications, instructions, and requirements
• Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within the required time
• Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
• Reports all production waste to the Production Lead or Supervisor
• Responsible for safety and quality throughout production
• Responsible for notifying a Production Lead or Supervisor when they step off the line to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained
• Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager
• Follows all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
• Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
• Troubleshoot problems and report issues
• Must work well in a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift
• Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
• Ability to lift up to 55lbs
