Intermountain Electronics seeks a General Laborer for the Day Shift at our Centralia, IL facility to support assembly, cleaning, and prep work for production as part of a turnkey power distribution and control systems operation.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, teamwork, and readiness to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while contributing to product readiness for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and shop tools and ensure safe, proper use.

Job Description

Job Title: General Labor

Job Status: Full time

General Duties

Clean and prepare equipment to meet or exceed the FOD (foreign object debris) requirements during final stages of completion before it gets shipped to customer. This includes spraying cleaner, wiping with cleaning rags, dusting, sweeping, mopping, gathering loose material or garbage.

Assemble, install, disassemble, clean, prepare, repair, refurbish, as related to the job.

Collect and gather garbage and debris inside the facility and outside on facility grounds.

Help provide organization to the shop floor.

Use and operate various hand and shop tools.

Properly care for and maintain tools in good operating condition; ensure tools and equipment are properly stored at the end of each shift.

Manage multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment

Must be team player and self-motivated

Work Schedule

Day Shift - Every other Friday off. 6:00a - 3:30p
