Greif, Inc. is seeking an entry-level assembly operator to support routine production lines under direct supervision. You will operate machinery, prepare parts per prints, measure with precision tools, and maintain logs of units produced while ensuring quality and safety standards.

In this role you will follow established procedures, keep a clean work area, report errors, and assist with basic maintenance as needed. The position offers competitive pay and benefits in Naperville, IL.

Formación

• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Under direct supervision, performs entry-level routine activities associated with various types of assembly machine operation and/or setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.

Education and Experience

Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
• Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $19.33 - $30.87 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between 19.33 to 30.87. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
