Job summary

Welch Packaging Group in Milwaukee, WI is seeking team members for a hands-on production role in a fast-paced facility. You will follow safety procedures and quality processes while working to hit targeted build rates.

Daily tasks include assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes, with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency. Candidates should have a HS diploma and at least 1 year in manufacturing; strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and processes.
• Ensure product built to specification and 100% accuracy.

• Work as part of a team with facility staff.
• Assemble, stack, wrap, staple, glue, sticker, and tape boxes as needed.

SUMMARY

Work in a production environment following all safety procedures, quality processes and hitting our targeted build rates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes
• Responsible for ensuring the product being built is built to spec and 100% accurate
• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery to our customers.
• Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping standards of the plant
• Responsible for working as a team with all team members of the facility.
• Day to day responsibilities may include some or all of the following assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.
