Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. in Nevada is seeking an in-plant Packaging Operator to operate the palletizing line and ensure cans are correctly placed on pallets according to customer orders.

You will detect defects, document issues, and communicate clearly with the maintenance team to minimize downtime. The role requires 1-2 years in high-speed manufacturing, ability to work nights and weekends, and strict adherence to GMPs and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in inspecting/packaging in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Must be available to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Good oral and written communication skills; basic English.
• Ability to discern color variations and construction issues; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic Palletizer/De-palletizer equipment.
• Ensure quality of finished packages and correct pallet patterns.
• Record production and downtime, report jams and issues to Maintainer or Supervisor.
• Maintain clean and organized work area; assist with housekeeping.
• Follow GMPs and safety procedures at all times.
