Job summary

SPX Technologies, part of Engineered Air Movement’s Cincinnati Fan, is seeking a General Labor team member to help build high‑quality industrial fans and blowers for OEMs worldwide. You will perform production tasks—assembly, material handling, paint line support, packaging and machine operation—while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This hands‑on role suits someone who learns quickly in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive work during shifts.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or other material handling equipment.
• Experience using computerized manufacturing or production tracking systems.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Load and unload materials and finished goods from production equipment.
• Hang and unhang moving parts from the paint line.
• Assemble products according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
• Package and prepare finished products for shipment per customer requirements.

You will perform a variety of production tasks—including assembly, material handling, paint line support, packaging, and machine operation—while working safely, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning new skills, and being part of a fast-paced manufacturing operation.

What You Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities)

Safety

• Follow all safety rules and adhere to core value of business
• Maintain general work areas and/or equipment used in a clean and orderly condition
• Ensure proper and effective operation of machine and tools throughout entire process. Report repairs and/or issues to team lead or supervisor

Quality

• Confirm material, sizes, and parts match work order/job tickets
• Ensure all parts and surfaces are free from defects
• Able to self-monitor quality of own work, and report to lead or supervisor unusual, defective, or operating difficulties
• Complete all tasks and work within designed quality guidelines
• Accurately document work performed using company required documents and procedures

Delivery

• Load and unload materials, components, and finished goods from production equipment.
• Hang and unhang moving parts from paint line.
• Assemble products according to work instructions and engineering specifications.
• Package and prepare finished products for shipment per customer requirements/work order.
• Perform assigned production tasks while meeting established safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Education & Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
