Job summary

MARCO DISPLAY SPECIALISTS is seeking a dependable warehouse associate in Fort Worth, TX. Under supervision, you will perform general labor tasks such as loading/unloading, lifting, and moving material, while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities include operating small powered hand tools when required, inspecting for damages, following work instructions, and reporting issues to supervisors. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Job description

Performs a variety of manual tasks under close supervision of higher-level employees. These tasks may include assisting with extra workload throughout the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pays attention to detail.
• Performs general labor such as loading/unloading, lifting, and moving material.
• Sands, assembles, cuts, glue, and sprays various products.
• Use of small, powered hand tools may be required.
• May perform various task to aid in daily tool cage operations.
• May use saws (table saw, router) benders, hand torch and other power tools.
• May be trained to act as forklift operator to assist with material movement.
• Reports any issues (material, tools, supplies, etc.) to supervisor or higher-level employee.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Following instructions based on work instructions.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
• Performs any other duties assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
• Ability to work in a variety of roles.
• Able to work overtime as needed.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to work in a varying temperature in a warehouse environment.
• Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.
