Job summary

SPECIALIZED PACKAGING SOLUTIONS INC in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Associate Technician to support packaging operations, ensure accurate weights, and uphold safety standards in a warehouse setting.

You will assemble and package products, inspect quality, report issues, and help maintain organized storage while following print sheets and safety protocols. This is a full-time role with potential overtime; teamwork and reliability are valued.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or disassemble products according to print sheets.

• Inspect and report product quality, packaging, labels, weights, and storage.
• Notify supervisor of material needs and assist in retrieving material.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Report hazards and avoid abuse in the workplace.
• Keep workspace clean and storage areas organized; perform general tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Objective: As a general laborer, you are always responsible for safety, reporting product quality, recording production weights, proper packaging, and storing finished goods in assigned locations.

Essential Functions:

• Assemble and/or disassemble various products - foam, lumber, corrugated, etc. - according to print sheets in a timely manner.
• Safely and responsibly use any tools required for assembly, which could include saws, staplers, nail guns, heat guns, glue guns, wrapping carousel, banding tools, drills, hammers, etc.
• Responsible for inspecting and reporting product quality, proper quantities and packaging, proper labels, recording production weights, and storing finished goods in assigned location.
• Notify supervisor of material needed for production; may assist in retrieving that material.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures and monitor all work processes to maintain a safe working environment.
• Report any hazardous situation or identified abuse.
• Maintain a clean workspace and perform various general tasks such as sweeping, emptying trash, and cleaning spills; ensuring storage/inventory areas are kept neat.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.
