Duties/Responsibilities: The production worker position performs all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products. This includes painting, assembling parts, building crates, fabrication of products, and operating various machines. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe.

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Reads routing and performs work as assigned by team leader.
2. Sews, cuts, clips, hooks, or otherwise assembles materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished products from raw materials.
3. Attaches labels and tags to products and packages.
4. Packs finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
5. Paints materials.
6. Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
7. Places finished goods on the designated pallet.
8. Maintains a clean and safe work area.
9. LEAN manufacturing experience preferred.
10. Must be able to read a protractor.
11. Able to use measuring devices, measure to 1/64” fractions and .001” micrometer.
12. Strong math skills.
13. Willing to work overtime and on Saturdays.
14. Must be able to stand all day.
15. Must be able to lift up to 57 lbs.
