Job summary

ProLogistix is seeking a Warehouse General Labor for roles in Baytown, TX. The position involves working 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

with possible overtime, in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities include safety compliance, equipment operation, and assisting with shipping, receiving, and packaging duties. Candidates should have 3–6 months of warehouse experience, basic math, and the ability to read a ruler or tape measure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–6 months relevant experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Read ruler/tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Basic math skills for quick calculations in a warehouse setting.
• Able to use basic hand and power tools.
• Willingness to work outdoors and tolerate varied weather conditions.
• Punctuality and ability to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Stand for long periods and lift up to 55–100 lbs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and equipment.
• Move and set up machinery as directed by Lead or Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3-6 months relevant experience within a Warehouse and/ or Distribution Center.
• Attention to detail
• Able to use basic hand and power tools

Job Responsibilities

General Laborer must possess a thorough knowledge of processes and procedures associated with supply, storage, and distribution functions within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The candidate will be responsible for various functions associated with shipping, receiving, and the packaging of inbound/outbound shipments along with various housekeeping duties.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Mathematical skills: ability to perform all basic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
• Physical demands: Must be able to lift 55 – 100 lbs.
• Warehouse environment: in and outdoor with possible extreme weather conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Perform various tasks in assistance or in support of the organization including but not limited to general labor.
• Be willing to work other than normal scheduled hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays according to the needs of the business.
• Punctuality is a must; be on time and ready to work at the start shift.
• Perform various tasks on box lines, FFS-lines, and manual lines.
• Move and set up machinery as directed by Lead or Supervisor.
• Manual labor including sorting, measuring, scanning, registering, picking, and other various tasks.
• Be able to follow all Visual Operating Procedures required for your assigned task.
