The Medical University of South Carolina in the Charleston region seeks a clinical, full-time General Internal Medicine clinician educator at Assistant or Associate Professor level. Primary duties include 8 half-days per week of direct patient care across MUSC primary care sites, with radiology and lab support on site, and opportunities for resident supervision in IM continuity clinics.

This role offers potential to expand into educational leadership within the Medical School and post-graduate

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD board certified (or board eligible) in General Internal Medicine.
• Experience as a clinician educator or teaching involvement is preferred.
• On-call responsibilities align with the division's standard schedule.

Responsabilités

• Deliver 8 half-days per week of direct patient care in one or more primary care locations in the Charleston area.
• Participate in resident supervision sessions as available.
• Contribute to medical school and post-graduate education activities as opportunities arise.
