Job summary

Tindell's Building Materials is seeking a field installer to handle punch-out products, garage doors, doors, windows and trim. The role involves a variety of daily tasks including loading, unloading, inventory control, and basic truck safety checks.

Eligible candidates must be 21+, able to obtain F-endorsement on a driver license, and comfortable climbing ladders. Competitive pay starts during training with potential bonuses based on production results.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old and have or be able to obtain the F-endorsement on driver license.
• Experience with basic hand tools.
• Ability to work on ladders with no fear of heights.
• Basic construction knowledge.
• General knowledge of building trades.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory of installed punch out products including closet shelving, mirrors, bath accessories, shower doors, medicine cabinets and locks.
• Installs and services punch out related products per guidelines.
• Installs garage doors per manufacturers' specifications.
• Installs doors, windows and trim.
• Maintains knowledge of building codes related to garage doors.
• Loads, unloads, performs safety checks, and basic truck maintenance.
• Assists in warehouse including stocking, inventory counts, and unloading.
• Completes time/ material/ inventory paperwork.
• Keeps warehouse clean per safety policies.

$20/hr. while training (up to 3 months) then $18/hr. Base Pay + Production Bonuses

BASIC FUNCTION:

All duties related to the installation of punch-out products, garage doors, doors, windows, trim, etc. This position does a variety of jobs on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory of all installed punch out products including closet shelving, mirrors, bath accessories, shower doors, medicine cabinets and locks.
• Installs and services all punch out related products in accordance with Tindell's quality and customer satisfaction guidelines.
• Installs garage doors per manufacturers' specifications.
• Installs doors, windows and trim.
• Maintains knowledge of building codes pertaining to installation of garage doors.
• Responsible for loading, unloading, safety checks, and basic maintenance and care of trucks
• Assists as needed in warehouse, including stocking, inventory counts, and unloading
• Completes required paperwork which includes: 1) time worked, 2) material loaded on truck, 3) material used, 4) material returned to inventory
• Maintains cleanliness of warehouse in accordance with Tindell's safety and administrative policies
