Job summary

MaineHealth Cancer Care in Brunswick is seeking a General Hematologist/Oncologist to join the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at its Brunswick location. The Brunswick Practice serves the community with access to a broad oncologic and hematologic care network.

The successful candidate will work with multidisciplinary colleagues and may participate in a subspecialty clinic; MaineHealth emphasizes a collaborative academic health system environment with strong research ties.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in oncology within an academic health system or academically oriented private practice is preferred.
• J-1 visa applicants are welcome to apply.
• Relocation support available.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues in an established hematology/oncology practice.
• Participation in system-wide multidisciplinary subspecialty tumor boards is encouraged.
• A 1 day/week subspecialty clinic at the primary MaineHealth Cancer Center campus in Scarborough/Portland is available for candidates with subspecialty interest.
