Job summary

Optimum Permanent Placement Services partners with a southern Ohio medical center to recruit a General Gastroenterologist to join the team. This role offers a well-supported practice, favorable scheduling, and a strong compensation package.

Schedule is Mon-Thu 8a-5p with half-day Fridays, plus a 7-on/7-off option and light beeper call. Onsite there are 5 endoscopy suites and a robust support staff. Board-certified candidates, including new grads, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Gastroenterology.
• Accepting new grads, H1B, J1, and O1 candidates.
• Light beeper call requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide general gastroenterology care with endoscopy and clinic.
• Perform endoscopic procedures as scheduled.
• Collaborate with a team including APPs, nurses and staff.

Optimum has partnered with a medical center in southern Ohio that has an opening for a General Gastroenterologist to join its team.

Opening Overview:

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday (8a-5p), half-day Fridays
• 7 on/7 off scheduling available if interested
• Light beeper call requirement
• Daily Volume: 10-15 procedures in endo suite, 30 patients in clinic
• 5 endo suites onsite
• Caseload: General GI; EUS and ERCO preferred, but not required
• Support Staff: 1 physician, 3 APPs, 2 LPNs, 3 MOAs, 1 service line manager, and 1 office manager
• Will accept new grads, H1B, J1, and O1 candidates
• Must be board-certified
