Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible gastroenterologist to join a comprehensive GI practice. The role includes performing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures and delivering patient-centered care for disorders of the GI tract, pancreas, biliary tract and liver.

The Endoscopy Center is a major facility in South Florida with plans to add fluoroscopy to consolidate radiological GI services on site, fostering high-quality, integrated care

Qualifications

• Commitment to patient-centered multidisciplinary GI care.
• BE/BC with excellent clinical training.
• Experience in general gastroenterology is required.
• Adaptable colleague building the practice and community presence.
• Interest in clinical research and medical education encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures.
• Provide comprehensive care for GI, pancreas, biliary tract and liver disorders.
• Contribute to Endoscopy Center enhancements and radiology integration.

Job Description Summary:

• Mount Sinai's gastroenterologists perform the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures available, with the goal of minimizing the patient's need for further surgery and maintaining the integrity of the GI tract.
• Our physicians provide comprehensive, compassionate care for people with disorders of the GI tract, pancreas, biliary tract and liver.
• Our Endoscopy Center is one of the largest and most up-to-date facilities in South Florida. Plans are underway to add a fluoroscopy unit to the center, so that patients will receive all of their radiological GI procedures in one location.
