This role is responsible for managing multiple crews, coordinating field activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive underground utility experience, and a deep understanding of gas distribution systems.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate daily activities of underground gas distribution crews and subcontractorsOversee installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of underground gas mains and servicesEnsure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA, company policies, and local/state regulationsConduct daily job site safety meetings and enforce safe work practicesPlan manpower, equipment, and material needs for assigned projectsMonitor production schedules and project progress to meet deadlines and budgetsRead and interpret utility plans, blueprints, and specificationsCoordinate with project managers, inspectors, municipalities, and utility representativesMaintain accurate project documentation, reports, and timesheetsTrain, mentor, and develop field personnel and foremenIdentify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays and operational disruptionsEnsure proper restoration and cleanup of work sitesQualifications:Minimum 5+ years of experience in underground gas distribution constructionStrong knowledge of underground utility installation methods, gas distribution systems, and pipeline safety practicesAbility to lead multiple crews in a fast-paced construction environmentExperience with excavation, trenching, shoring, and heavy equipment operationsWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations and utility industry standardsStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsValid driver’s license with clean driving recordAbility to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and travel to job sites as neededPreferred SkillsPrevious experience as a Foreman or General Foreman preferredCDL preferred but not requiredQ3 Contracting is a drug-free environment, and all candidates are subject to drug testing.Compensation and Benefits:$42.71 - $43.71/hour.
