Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Production Associate/General Factory in Omaha, NE. You will follow safe manufacturing procedures, operate fast-paced machinery, inspect and stack finished products, and read orders with basic shop math. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

The position is full-time, hourly, with shifts 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am, Monday to Friday. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and 18+ is required; manufacturing experience is a plus and safety

Responsibilities

• Follow safe manufacturing procedures and operate fast-paced machinery.
• Inspect, count and stack finished product; read manufacturing orders.
• Read tape measures, gauges and other test equipment; apply basic shop math.
• Accurately complete quality and administrative documents per directions.
• Assist with clean-up tasks around the machine area and scrap handling.

Pay Rate: ($22/hr. up to $25/hr.)

Referral Bonus: $500 after 6 months,

Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time (3pm-11pm; 11pm – 7am – Monday-Friday)

The Job You Will Perform:

• Safe manufacturing procedures

• Inspecting, counting and stacking finished product
• Reading manufacturing orders
• Accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other test equipment
• Utilizing basic shop math
• Accurately completing quality and administrative documents and following directions
• Clean-up functions such as blowing down machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming, sweeping machine area as well as picking up and shredding scrap
