As a General Facilities Maintenance Technician at our retail store, you will perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart Stores, equipment, or fixtures. Operating under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager, you'll follow established maintenance schedules and guidelines, conducting inspections, cleaning, and repairs.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $45,760 - $83,200
• Sign-on bonus: $2000 (select locations)
• Additional bonuses may be available and will be disclosed during the interview

Essential Functions:

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using various craft skills (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment)
• Use work order management systems to support reactive repairs and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete required safety training for equipment and tools

Position Requirements:

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders frequently and work at heights
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Work in various temperatures
• Valid driving record
• Vocational/technical certification and 1-year experience, or 2 years relevant work experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, or material handling
