Job Description

The Dobbs Ferry School District seeks a General Education Teaching Assistant at Springhurst Elementary School, effective August 31, 2026. This is a full-time, probationary, tenure-track position. Minimum Requirement: NYSED Level I Teaching Assistant certification. Salary commensurate with experience and in accordance with the CSEA Clerical, Teacher Aide/Teaching Assistant contract.

As per NYSED teaching assistants provide instructional services to students under general supervision of a certified teacher. The successful candidate will lead or assist in various activities, aid in the development of educational material, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands
