Your Day to Day as a General Development Project Engineer

• Lead cross-functional teams to support development schedules.
• Delivers clear presentations on project status to customers and senior management.
• Assist Engineering with developing project schedules based on technical work scopes and evaluates those schedules to the customer needs.
• Assist Engineering with developing cost estimates for general development jobs, send estimates through estimating and submit to the Customer.
• Work with production control on providing schedule index and priority codes to job orders on the shop floor.
• Actively participates and leads customer meetings.
• Monitor General Development Job spending and provide the Customer reports as required.
• Engineers solutions to improve project management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics and four (4) years of relevant experience is required.
• Must have demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills as well as the ability to effectively work with others.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with manufacturing desired.
• Prior lead experience directing others on projects supporting the customer is preferred.

The base salary range for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[cust_salaryMin]] and $[[cust_salaryMax]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
