An established, fully physician-owned and physician-led dermatology and dermatopathology practice serving the greater Houston area is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Dermatologist to join its expanding clinical team.

This practice is deeply committed to supporting physician autonomy, eliminating administrative friction, and fostering a collaborative culture where clinicians thrive. Backed by an elite in-house dermatopathology laboratory and dedicated clinical support staff, you will have the freedom and operational structure to build a high-volume, highly rewarding medical, surgical, and optional cosmetic dermatology practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert outpatient diagnosis, evaluation, and medical management for a comprehensive spectrum of dermatologic conditions across regional practice locations
  • Perform routine and complex dermatologic procedures, including skin biopsies, surgical excisions, cryotherapy, and lesion removals
  • Partner directly with the practice’s in-house dermatopathology team for rapid lab turnaround times, seamless diagnostic alignment, and integrated patient care plans
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation in support of high-quality clinical standards
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that builds long-term patient trust and enhances the practice's outstanding community reputation
  • Cultivate optional cosmetic dermatology services based on personal clinical interest and patient demand
  • Engage actively in a collegial, physician-driven environment designed for long-term professional satisfaction and career longevity

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited US medical school or international equivalent (MD or DO)
  • Training: Successfully completed an ACGME-accredited Dermatology residency program
  • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology (ABD or AOBD)
  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Texas Medical License (or eligible for state licensure prior to start)
  • Clinical Excellence: Outstanding clinical diagnostic skills, surgical precision, and dedication to evidence-based dermatologic care
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong emphasis on patient education
  • Experience Level: New graduates completing residency are warmly welcomed to apply

Benefits Package:

  • Guaranteed initial base salary transition structure pairing immediate financial stability with uncapped production upside
  • Top-tier Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans
  • Employer-sponsored 401(k) retirement savings plan
  • 100% employer-covered medical malpractice insurance policy
  • Employer-provided Short-Term and Long-Term Disability policies
  • Generous annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement allowance
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) provided during the initial salary period; transitions to complete scheduling autonomy upon moving to the percentage model (unlimited unpaid time off—take as much time off as desired)
  • Fully covered on-site free parking across practice locations

Note on Compensation: The initial guaranteed base salary transitions into a highly competitive percentage-of-collections model, representing exceptional regional earning potential based on patient volume, procedural scope, and personal schedule. Final terms will be detailed during the practice interview process.
