Job summary

42North Dental, established by dentists for dentists in Michigan, seeks a full-time General Dentist in Charlotte, MI. The role covers the complete patient experience from exam to care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Annual rate: $150,000 - $250,000 USD. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, CE opportunities, and more. Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm with a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections.

Qualifications

• Must have a DMD or DDS from a CODA-accredited program.
• Licensed to practice dentistry in the state.
• Vaccination documentation for Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and professionalism.
• Stay updated with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current BLS/CPR certification
