Job summary

Coast Dental is seeking a licensed general dentist to provide comprehensive dentistry, diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and related oral structures.

The role includes examining patients with x-rays and diagnostic procedures, performing preventive care, coordinating lab services, and adhering to OSHA/safety protocols. A DDS/DMD and active state licensure are required; BLS/CPR and residency training are preferred.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree with licensure in the practicing state.
• Current BLS and CPR certifications.
• GPR or AEGD residency training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general dentistry services including the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and mal formations of teeth, gums and related oral structures.
• Examine patients to determine the nature of the condition using x-rays, dental instruments and other diagnostic procedures.
• Clean, fill, extract and replace teeth using rotary and hand instruments, dental appliances, medications and surgical implements.
• Provide preventive dental services and education in oral and dental hygiene.
• Coordinate laboratory services for the dental office.
• Adhere to safety protocols including OSHA and Bloodborne pathogen requirements.
• Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews and routine office meetings.
• All other duties allowed under applicable state laws and regulations.
