Job summary

Matrix Providers is seeking a General Dentist to join our team serving Joint Base Andrews/Bolling, Andrews AFB, MD. You will practice a full range of dental services under DHA/DTF guidelines and The Joint Commission standards at the military facility.

The ideal candidate holds a DMD or DDS from a CODA-accredited program, is Board Eligible/Board Certified in General Dentistry, and maintains an active license in the U.S. This full-time 1099 role offers a consistent schedule with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Must possess a DMD or DDS from CODA-accredited program.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Dentistry.
• License to practice in a U.S. state, DC, PR, or a U.S. territory.
• Minimum of 1 year full-time dentistry experience or recent graduate within 18 months.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Specialty dentists must have CODA-certified specialty and certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of professional dental services per facility guidelines.
• Examine patients, interpret radiographs, diagnose and treat oral diseases.
• Prescribe treatment and refer nondental problems as needed.
• Perform routine preventive, periodontal, endodontic, surgery, and prosthodontic care.
• Provide consultation and may serve as a preceptor for residency programs.
