Qualifications

• Valid state dental license.
• Proven general dentistry experience; experience with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy and related medical terminology.
• Proficiency in extractions, implants, endodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery procedures.
• Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing dental practice.
• Experience with dental imaging technology used for diagnosis and planning.
• Commitment to exceptional patient care and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental examinations and diagnosis using imaging and terminology.
• Perform restorations, extractions, root canals, implants and oral surgeries with precision.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and state healthcare policy adherence.
• Keep accurate medical and dental records according to standards.
• Explain diagnoses, options, and post-treatment care to patients.
• Uphold infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Collaborate with team using four-handed dentistry for efficiency.
• Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry and related specialties.
