Job summary

42North Dental in Connecticut is seeking a General Dentist for full-time or part-time roles in Torrington. You will manage the complete patient experience from exam through care delivery, including in-office specialties and comprehensive treatment planning.

Qualified candidates hold a DMD/DDS, current license, Hep B vaccination, malpractice coverage and BLS/CPR. Competitive compensation and extensive benefits accompany opportunities for CE and growth.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and professional ethics.
