Job summary

Coast Dental & Orthodontics in Tampa, FL is seeking a licensed general dentist to provide comprehensive dentistry, diagnose and treat oral diseases, and manage patient care from examination to restoration. You will perform preventive services, coordinate lab work, and ensure safety protocols.

We require an active DDS/DMD with licensure or eligibility, current BLS/CPR, and consider GPR/AEGD residency as a plus. The role involves teamwork, patient education, and delivering high-quality dental care.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree with state licensure or eligibility
• BLS and CPR certification current
• GPR or AEGD residency completed or preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform general dentistry services, including diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth, gums and related oral structures.
• Examine patients using x-rays, dental instruments and diagnostic procedures.
• Clean, fill, extract and replace teeth with rotary/hand instruments and appliances.
• Provide preventive dental services and education in oral hygiene.
• Coordinate laboratory services for the dental office.
• Adhere to safety protocols including OSHA/Bloodborne pathogen requirements
• Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews and routine office meetings.
