Job summary

Florida Dental As in Florida is seeking a licensed general dentist to provide comprehensive dental care, diagnose and treat oral diseases, and maintain high patient-safety standards.

The role involves performing exams, x-rays, fillings, extractions, preventive care, coordinating labs, and complying with OSHA/Bloodborne pathogen guidelines; you will participate in team huddles and regular meetings to ensure smooth clinical operations.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree required and licensure in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certificates.
• GPR or AEGD completion is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients to determine the condition, using x-rays, dental instruments and other diagnostic procedures.
• Clean, fill, extract and replace teeth using rotary and hand instruments, dental appliances and medications.
• Provide preventive dental services and education in oral hygiene.
• Coordinate laboratory services for the dental office.
• Adhere to safety protocols including OSHA/bloodborne pathogen requirements.
• Participate in morning huddles, chart reviews and routine office meetings.
• All other duties allowed under applicable state laws and regulations.
