Responsibilities include exams, diagnoses, treatment planning, preventive and restorative services, emergency care, imaging interpretation, anesthesia administration, and maintaining accurate records while collaborating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program.
• Current Texas General Dentist License in good standing.
• National Board Dental Examination certification.
• DEA registration.
• Eligibility for Medicare and Medicaid provider participation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to quality, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough oral examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Perform preventive, restorative, and emergency dental services such as fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, crowns, bridges, and dentures.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and prescribe necessary medications.
• Administer local anesthesia and educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Refer patients to specialists when needed and adhere to clinical protocols.
