Kōkua Smiles is actively looking for a General Dentist to join our Aiea, Oahu team in person. Enjoy a supportive clinical environment, modern technology, and clinical autonomy to deliver patient-centered care.

We offer opportunities for mentorship and professional development, with a community-focused culture. Licensing in Hawaii is required or obtainable, and both full-time and part-time schedules are available depending on the interview.

Formación

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Active Hawaii dental license, or ability to obtain one before starting clinical work.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient comfort and quality care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team.
• Familiarity with Open Dental is preferred; training is available.
• Prior clinical experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide preventive and restorative dentistry, including fillings, crowns, bridges, and other procedures within your training and clinical scope.
• Perform extractions, endodontic treatment, and implant procedures as appropriate to your experience and patient needs.
• Explain treatment recommendations and preventive care to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff.
• Follow applicable clinical, infection control, and patient privacy requirements.
