Job summary

Blue Jay Dental, LLC in Shreveport, LA seeks a dedicated general dentist to join an established practice. The associate will work four days a week providing comprehensive dental care to children and adults in a 5-operatory clinic with digital X-ray and TVs in every operatory.

Candidates must have a DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school, an active TX license and DEA, and a commitment to living in the community and delivering clinical excellence across all facets of general dentistry.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from accredited dental school
• TX license and DEA
• Willing to live in Shreveport, LA
• Competence in all facets of general dentistry

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis of patient's dental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiological techniques.
• Assess patient's dental status and arrange for appropriate consultations to determine treatment needed.
• Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of patients.
• Provide routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis and fluoride treatments.
• Refer to dental specialists when appropriate.
• Manage administrative functions of the Dental Office.
• Supervise the work of dental hygienists and dental assistants.
