AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking a qualified General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental services to eligible military beneficiaries at Pope Dental Clinic, Pope Army Airfield, North Carolina. The General Dentist will deliver preventive, diagnostic, restorative, and emergency dental care while working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The provider will ensure the highest standards of patient care in accordance with Defense Health Agency (DHA), Army regulations, Joint Commission standards, and accepted principles of modern dentistry.
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).
Graduate from a dental school accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Dentistry.
Experience sufficient to meet Defense Health Agency credentialing and privileging requirements.
Previous military, federal, hospital, or group practice experience is preferred.
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
Eligible to obtain and maintain DEA registration.
Must be eligible for credentialing and clinical privileges at the Military Treatment Facility.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must meet all Defense Health Agency occupational health requirements, including required immunizations, annual influenza vaccination, tuberculosis screening, physical examination, and other medical clearance requirements before beginning employment.
