Job summary

FOSSUM DENTAL GROUP in Temple, TX is seeking a part-time General Dentist to join an established practice. You will perform comprehensive exams and diagnoses, deliver a range of general dentistry treatments, and collaborate with a supportive team to provide high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has a DDS/DMD from an accredited school, strong diagnostic and communication skills, and a passion for learning. New graduates are welcome to apply and join a caring, patient-focused dental team.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for patient-centered care and continuous learning.
• 2+ years of experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental exams and diagnoses.
• Deliver general dentistry treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions.
• Cosmetic procedures (veneers, whitening, bonding).
• Denture and partial services.
• Basic endodontic and periodontal care.
• Develop customized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Work collaboratively with hygienists, assistants, and front office staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to compliance standards.
