Qualifications

• Active DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Current state dental license in good standing.
• Current DEA registration for prescription authority.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Malpractice insurance eligibility.
• Experience with digital radiography and practice management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental exams, cleanings, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions using restorative and cosmetic procedures.
• Develop and explain individualized treatment plans to patients.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventative care, and post-treatment instructions.
• Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and front office staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records.
• Adhere to infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
• Use dental technologies and radiographic imaging to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
• Support a patient-focused culture emphasizing quality care and long-term relationships.
• Restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns, bridges).
• Preventive dentistry and prophylaxis planning.
