Job summary

Caring Hands Healthcare Centers, Inc. is seeking a general dentist to join our nonprofit dental team serving southeast Oklahoma.

You will provide general dentistry for adults and children—preventive, restorative, and extractions—in a well-supported clinic and help shape equipment and operatory design for our new building, with input from your experience. Job description

Caring Hands Healthcare Centers is a nonprofit community health center serving southeast Oklahoma since 2005. Our team provides primary care, women's health, pediatrics, behavioral health, dental care, and pharmacy services across four clinics in McAlester and Hartshorne. We care for every patient, regardless of ability to pay.

Practice dentistry with new equipment, a supported schedule, and none of the practice-ownership headaches. Caring Hands runs an established dental clinic with two dentists today, and our new facility now under construction will give the dental team modern operatories built to your input. Our dental HPSA score of 17 makes eligible dentists candidates for NHSC loan repayment of up to $50,000 for a two-year commitment, on top of salary, with no malpractice premiums thanks to FTCA coverage.

Day-to-day:

• General dentistry for adults and children: preventive, restorative, extractions
• Work alongside experienced dentists and support staff who stay
• Input on equipment and operatory design for the new building Requirements: Required: DDS or DMD; current Oklahoma dental license or license eligible. Nice to have: community health or public health dentistry experience.
