MedlinkHealth Anesthesia seeks an experienced General Dentist for an urgent locum tenens assignment in Mason City, IA. The role offers a steady Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with start ASAP after credentialing and an assignment length of 3–12 months, with the possibility to extend.

The dentist will treat patients aged 5 through adult, perform comprehensive services (fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns) and utilize 3D printing and the EPIC Wisdom EMR.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice dentistry in the United States.
• No malpractice claims on record per insurance enrollment requirements.
• Licensing process can be expedited if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns.
• Provide general restorative and comprehensive dental care for patients aged 5 and up.
• Use EPIC Wisdom EMR for charting and patient records.
• Refer complex cases as appropriate.
• Manage a typical daily patient load in a limb-friendly schedule.

GENERAL DENTIST – LOCUM TENENS.

We are seeking an experienced
General Dentist for an urgent locum opportunity. This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and the potential for a longer-term assignment.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday–Friday.
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Start date: ASAP, approximately 1–2 weeks after credentialing.
• Assignment length: 3–12 months, with option to extend.
• Preference for a 6–12 month commitment.

POSITION DETAILS:

• General Dentistry.
• Approximately 16–18 patients per day.
• Must be comfortable treating patients ages 5 through adult.
• EPIC Wisdom EMR.
• Complex cases can be referred out as appropriate.

CLINICAL SERVICES:

• Fillings.
• Extractions.
• Root canals.
• Crowns.
• 3D printing.
• General restorative and comprehensive dental care.
• Complex cases will be referred out.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Active dental license preferred due to the urgent need.
• Candidates must have no malpractice claims due to insurance enrollment requirements.
• Providers needing licensure may be considered if the licensing process can be expedited.
• Client has a contact with the dental board to assist with the licensing process if needed.
