Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking a detailed-oriented General Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in a North Carolina facility.

You will work with a crew to sweep, mop, sanitize restrooms, empty trash, dust and replenish supplies, and ensure safety protocols are followed. This role offers weekly pay, employee benefits, and opportunities for advancement as part of an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Good time management and attention to detail
• Ability to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions
• Ability to work with others and follow instructions
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Works with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum and scrub floors in assigned areas
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Dust furniture, fixtures and equipment
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and equipment
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Report maintenance or repair needs to supervisor
• Perform other cleaning duties as assigned
