Job summary

HES Facilities is hiring for a Full and Part-Time Custodian at our Lansing, MI location. You will perform sweeping, dusting, restroom sanitation, window washing and general cleaning to support educational facilities.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work with others, and reliable transportation. Minimal travel applies, and a background check is required. We operate multiple shifts (1st and 3rd) to cover school cycles, offering steady hours.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, dust-mop, damp mop, vacuum, clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
• Polish exterior areas within 10 feet of entryways and wash windows.
• Remove trash and manage recycling; perform snow/ice removal as needed.
• Clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry glass and interiors; maintain general areas as directed by supervisor.
