Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a General Cleaner for Plymouth Schools in Terryville, CT. The position covers day-to-day cleaning and maintenance, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, restroom sanitization, window washing, and trash removal.

A background check is required; high school diploma preferred, previous cleaning experience a plus. The role is offered as Full and Part-Time with 1st and 2nd shifts (school hours).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, dust-mop, damp-mop, vacuum, and clean floors.
• Extract carpet, strip and wax floors, remove trash and recycling.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
• Polish exterior areas within 10 feet of entryways.
• Wash windows and clean desks, walls, furniture, doors, entry glass, and light fixtures.
• Assist with snow/ice removal as directed.
