Job Description: Custodian/Janitor

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and use compactors for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Adhere to the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on customer needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a drug test if required.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

Position Details

• Part-time, 12 hours per week.
• Morning shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Hourly rate up to $14.00.
