GDI is seeking a detail-oriented General Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at one of our facilities in New Hyde Park, NY. The role involves cleaning floors, restrooms, breakrooms, dusting, and restocking supplies while adhering to safety policies.

The position offers Monday to Friday shifts from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Candidates should be reliable, able to work with a team, and follow supervisor instructions to ensure high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Clean windows, glass partitions, and equipment.
• Replenish soap, towels and toilet paper as needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and report maintenance needs.

Shifts Hours: Monday to Friday (5:00pm - 10:00pm)

Job Duties:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum and scrub floors in assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Dust furniture, fixtures and equipment.
• Clean windows, glass partition, and equipment.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisor
• Perform other cleaning duties as assigned
