Job description

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by providing quality cleaning services, managing supplies, and ensuring a safe work environment. The ideal candidate should be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to work with a diverse team and uphold a strong commitment to customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, and trash removal in accordance with health and safety regulations.
2. Organize and maintain janitorial supply rooms as needed.
3. Report safety risks, hazards, or repair needs to management immediately.
4. Monitor building security by tasks such as locking doors after hours.
5. Complete additional duties and training as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Skills and Abilities:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently with high performance standards.
• Customer-oriented and friendly attitude.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Repeat movements, frequent bending and twisting.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible working hours, including evenings.
